WELCOME
On behalf of the members of ISM-7 Counties, I would like to invite you to attend our next Dinner Meeting Program. To attend, please reserve via ism7counties@aol.com or 203-268-1295. The cost is $30 for members/$35 for non-members. Please check our calendar for an updated list of events for the coming year.
ISM-7 Counties is the local affiliate of the Institute for Supply Management. Our mission is to serve the professional, educational and networking needs of Supply Chain professionals in the 7-Counties area, comprised of Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Putnam and Ulster Counties in New York, and Fairfield County in Connecticut. We do this by offering educational programs, providing networking connections, sharing career opportunities and acting as coaches and mentors.
Our primary activities are the eight dinner meetings we host each year, some as solo efforts and others as joint meetings with other local Supply Chain organizations such as Tappan Zee APICS and the NYCONN Roundtable of CSCMP. All of our meetings are built around relevant speakers and presentations that provide the knowledge and networking our members need in today’s business world. We are also exploring re-instating our previous one-day seminars on Supply Chain topics of interest to our members.
We encourage you to attend our events and welcome your contributions of ideas and suggestions to make ISM 7-Counties a more meaningful organization to you. And, of course, we would welcome your active participation in any capacity. If you would be interested in helping a committee or even joining the Board, please contact me or any Board member listed in the website.

PLEASE NOTE: FOR THOSE ALREADY REGISTERED, LAST CHANCE TO TAKE C.P.M. EXAMS IS 12/31/09
But, don't wait until the last minute to actually take your exams. ISM recommends that you complete all your C.P.M. Exam modules as soon as possible to avoid any scheduling issues. If you happen to not pass one or more modules, you will be able to retake the module(s), as space is available at the test site, throughout 2009. However, the last day that anyone can take a C.P.M. Exam, whether it is a first time or a retake exam, is December 31, 2009. If you tested as part of an on-site program, contact your employer for information on retesting.
